Epix9+ Strobe Wide driving beam in white design with extra wide beam pattern. Epix9+ Strobe in ivory white design is an LED auxiliary light with Wide driving beam and integrated strobe light, developed to provide very wide beam pattern and high safety in demanding environments. The 40° wide beam pattern covers a significantly larger area than a traditional 20° driving beam, providing optimal visibility and facilitating early detection of animals and other unexpected obstacles. Despite the wide spread, a range of 677 metres is maintained in power boost mode and 359 metres in E-approved mode, providing a well-balanced combination of width and length in the beam pattern.

Swedish design developed in-house
Epix9+ from Ledson is a series of auxiliary lights with a Swedish design developed in-house, combining light performance and form. The series is equipped with five different strobe patterns, one of which is ECE R65 approved. The ivory white colour scheme gives an exclusive and uniform appearance and is designed to match Scania's white shade, among other things. The combination of design and performance gives the vehicle a distinctly unique and exclusive character with high visibility on the road.

Synchronisation and alternating strobe patterns
Epix9+ Strobe can be synchronised with other units in the same series. All auxiliary lights can then use the same strobe pattern and strobe in complete synchronisation. It is also possible to divide the auxiliary lights into two groups for alternating strobe patterns, for example right/left or upper/lower. All five strobe patterns can be used alternately, giving a total of ten different strobe combinations. Synchronisation and alternating operation can be performed with an unlimited number of auxiliary lights without any restriction on the number of units.

Dynamic position light
The Epix9+ Strobe has a dynamic position light that is activated by a movement that travels across the front of the Auxiliary light before it shines at full strength. This feature gives the vehicle a clear and distinctive visual identity.

Pulse-controlled powerboost
Epix9+ Strobe is equipped with pulse-controlled powerboost, an enhanced power mode intended for situations where maximum brightness is desired. Activation and switching between E-approved mode and powerboost is easily done via the full beam lever using the light horn (strobeing function) according to the steps specified in the accompanying instructions. The product is delivered in E-approved mode and requires manual activation according to the instructions to use the powerboost function.
